March 26th, 2010 will see the release of Man Overboard’s Noise From Upstairs EP, their second digital release for Run For Cover. Richmond VA’s Memorial have been on many people’s radar for some time now. Featuring singer/songwriter Peter Appleby (Renee Heartfelt, Count Me Out) as well as past members of Striking Distance, and American Nightmare, Memorial play a style of post-hardcore not unlike Far, Rival Schools, Jupiter era Cave In, or Failure. “Mile High City” is the bands follow up to their 2008 LP “Creative Process / Berlin” and features 6 songs and nearly a half hour of music on 12” LP and digital formats. Since these took a little longer than expected due to SXSW, anyone that ordered the Fireworks 7” along with anything else, you most likely noticed your order was split up and shipped separately. Although it cost us a little extra, I figured it was worth the extra effort for people not to be waiting for big orders. Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered these, we had a great response for it being a second press. These will ship as soon as they come in, and we expect to have an exact in hand date this week.

We are pleased to announce the release in a series of acoustic themed 7”s we will be doing throughout the year. The first will be a 7” from Adam of Tigers Jaw. Each release will be limited to a one time pressing of all black 7”s, and will also be available digitally. We have the first three 7”s in the series confirmed, so expect these to come out somewhat regularly.
Pre-orders for this 7” will go up at the same time as the Tigers Jaw / Balance and Composure LP (IE soon), and feature Adam doing acoustic renditions of I Saw Water as well as two new songs from their forthcoming LP.
