Run For Cover Records is a Boston, MA based independent record label, started in 2004 by Jeff Casazza. With an ever-growing roster of rising bands, Run For Cover has quickly garnered a reputation as one of independent music's most consistent labels.
At its roots, Run For Cover began as a hardcore label with a focus on finding and releasing great music from new bands around the country. Since then, the label has expanded to include a diverse mix of styles reflecting Casazza's growing tastes and the outpouring talent in the modern independent music scene; all with an enduring commitment to the DIY ethos the label was founded on.
In only a few short years, the label has worked with some of the punk community's most interesting and exciting musicians, helping them release acclaimed albums and tour the world over. With nearly 75 releases to date, the label's ever-expanding roster is home to an eclectic mix of pop-punk, post-hardcore, indie-rock, folk, shoe gaze and more. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Will you sign my band?
A: Probably...not. The best way to get signed is to get your name out through hard work and playing shows.
Q: Are you repressing _______?
A: We try to keep most of our releases in stock at all times, but sometimes it's very hard. It's safe to assume that if an LP is out of stock, that it will be repressed eventually.
Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A: We are a very small company but we ship everything as quickly as possible. Due to the amount of orders we get it can take as long as a week or more for your order to ship, but generally we ship orders within 1-2 days. If an item is out of stock for some reason, or there's a problem with your order, you will be emailed promptly. These shipping time estimates do not apply to pre-order items. PLEASE wait two weeks after ordering to email us about your order.
Q: I want to order a shirt/hoodie/hat/tanktop, why can't I choose media mail?
A: Although media mail is cheaper than priority, clothing cannot be shipped via media mail. If you order clothing, please choose first class (if under 13 oz this will be available) or priority (over 13 oz). If you mess this up, you're order will be canceled and you will be notified, but hopefully the blinking white bold text should help you remember not to do it :)
Q: I am an international customer and your shipping prices seem very high, why?
A: Our store can sometimes miscalculate international shipping, and if it seems high, it probably is. When your order ships you will be refunded the difference in postage. If you want to know ahead of time how much it will actually be, please email mailorder [at] runforcoverrecords.com with what you want to order, and your address, and we can figure out the exact cost.
Q: I ordered a shirt/hoodie/tank top/hat/etc and it doesn't fit, can I return it for a different size?
A: Yes. Please email mailorder [at] runforcoverrecords letting us know you want to exchange an item and we will help you out from there.
Q: I received a vinyl record I ordered, but it's warped/broken/messed up. Can I get a replacement?
A: You sure can. Email mailorder@runforcoverrecords.com with a photo (cell phone quality is fine) of the warped/broken record and we will send out a replacement.
Q: What is up with your logo with the triangles/all seeing eye? It it related to the illumnati/Zelda?
