One Step Closer This Place You Know is out today! Pre-order the 2nd Press "Orange Galaxy Swirl" vinyl

Apple Music

"Their songs are catchy and ripe for stage dives, but also jagged and emotionally gripping. In other words, the full package." - Revolver Magazine

"One Step Closer have figured out how to push the boundaries of hardcore without abandoning the genre or the scene, and they've done it on their own terms." - BrooklynVegan

One Step Closer’s debut LP This Place You Know is finally available now. Out today from Run For Cover Records, the album finds OSC honing their anthemic style of hardcore to create their most compelling set of songs to date. Merch and CDs are shipping from our webstore now with vinyl estimated to ship in early November. We have sold out of the first pressing of vinyl but you can grab the second press on Orange Galaxy swirl in our store, or check out the limited remaining copies of first pressing variants available from Triple B Records, Revelation Records and Evil Greed at their stores.

To mark the release One Step Closer have teamed with FLOOD Magazine for an in-depth track-by-track breakdown of the entire album. FLOOD praised vocalist Ryan Savitski's openhearted lyrics and, "throat-shredding delivery on par with the oddly stacked list of hardcore heavyweights who tore up Wilkes-Barre before OSC."

Makthaverskan return with new LP "För Allting" out 11/12, stream 'This Time' & pre-order

Swedish dream pop extraordinaires, Makthaverskan have returned to announce their upcoming fourth full-length, För Allting. Due out November 12th, För Allting finds the Gothenburg-based piece bringing new elements into their sound to create some of their most sweeping and catchy songs to date.

To mark the announcement Makthaverskan have shared the album's stunning first single, "This Time." The track has all of the touchstones that make Makthaverskan so undeniably compelling--instant hooks, reverb-drenched guitar leads, post-punk bite, and the always jaw-dropping voice of vocalist Maja Milner--all pushed to even greater heights than ever before.
